Q.  Is it cheaper to make your own beer at home?
A.  Yes and no.  When compared to mass produced, locally brewed "light" beers, the answer would be no.  However, when compared to similar style imported, full flavor, beer, the answer would be yes.  What is most important is, that the beer you make yourself will taste great and will be guaranteed fresh.

Q.  How long does the beer brewing process take?
A.  The brewing process takes about 2 hours, including preparation and clean-up.  The bottling process (about 1-2 weeks later) takes 1-2 hours.  The brewing process for more advanced "all grain" brewing takes a bit longer.

Q.  How long do I have to wait before I can drink the beer?
A.  Most homebrewed beer will be ready to drink in 3 weeks.  Some recipes require longer fermentation and conditioning periods.

Q.  Is it hard to make beer?
A.  Making beer can be as easy as opening a can and boiling water.  More advanced methods are a bit more time consuming and require additional equipment, but are still not difficult.

Q.  How do I get started?
A.  The easiest way is to purchase a homebrew starter kit that includes almost all of the equipment you will need.  (Bottles, pots, and stove are not included with the kits.)  Then, select a beer syle you want to make.  Slot out two hours of time and follow the instructions included in the beer kit.
