"ISRA-ALE" brewery is unique in that we brew and stock more beer styles than any other brewery in Israel. We always have at least 10-12 different beer styles on hand to choose from, ranging from a mild 4.4% alc. Porter to a whopping 9% Barley Wine.
The following is a list of our present stock:
ENGLISH BITTER - One of the most popular British Beers. Amber to copper in color, light to medium bigtternes, but balanced by the sweetness of caramel malts. Nice, easy drinking, thirst quenching beer. 5% alc.
PALE ALE - A real crowd pleaser! Our number one beer. Light in color with tons of hop flavor and aroma. Creamy smooth body and beautiful white head. 5.5% alc.
INDIA PALE ALE - One of our most requested beers. This beer is known for its high alcohol strength and bitterness. With its copper/red color and hoppy aroma you will enjoy looking at it and smelling it as much as you enjoy drinking it. Don't share this with just anyone. 6.5% alc.
IRISH RED ALE - This Irish cousin to English Pale Ale has a slight red color from a touch of Roasted Barley. A bit more malty and less hop flavor than Pale Ale. Light to medium body. Nice beer for an autumn night. 5.1% alc.
WHEAT BEER - Made from half wheat and half barley. A light, sweet, yeasty beer, with hints of banana flavor. Great for summer cookouts. First Place 2009 Kibbutz Ma'abarot. 5.3% alc.
PILSNER- This lager is medium bodied and malty with a gentle hop presence. Beautiful white lace head. It is fermented and stored at cold temperatures for long periods of time. 5.8% alc.
ABBEY DOUBLE - A rich, full flavored beer patterned after the "Trappists" style of beers. It has a dark red/brown color with lots of malt aroma. 7.8% alc.
PORTER - Basically a "baby" stout. Light in body and alcoholic strength, but full on flavor and roasted malt character. 4.4% alc.
STOUT - A black beer with strong coffee like flavor from a generous portion of roasted grains. This one is thick! 4.8% alc.
BARLEY WINE - This is the grand-daddy of beers with wine-like alcohol levels. Naturally sweet due to the massive amount of grain used to produce this deep amber colored beer. All of our Barley Wines are cellared for at least 12 months before release. You need to share this one with someone special. 9% alc.
SMOKED LAGER - This smoked flavored lager is a must try! Its unique flavor comes from smoked malts used in the recipe for a perfect balance of malt, smoke, and hops. A definite food beer. Try one of these with a plate of quality cheese or smoked meats. 5.5% alc.
HARD CIDER - This tasty beverage is not a beer as it is made from apples! Very popular in England (Scrumpy), USA, France, and Spain. Two varieties to choose from: Sparkling and slightly tart, or sweet and still. 7.6% alc.
We also make seasonal, special edition brews such as: German Dopple Bock, Spice Beer, Brown Ale and Scotch Ale.
